⚠️ Important 2026 update — Greece: Golden Visa thresholds restructured, ETIAS coming Q4 2026
The Greek Golden Visa thresholds were restructured: €800,000 in Athens, Thessaloniki, Mykonos, Santorini, Corfu, Rhodes, Crete and Zakynthos; €400,000 elsewhere (minimum 120 m²); €250,000 only for renovation/conversion projects or the new Start-Up Investment route. Cost & Validity for Korean Travellers
Korean citizens pay no visa fee to enter Greece for tourism. The permitted stay is 90 days in any 180-day period, granted automatically on arrival with a valid passport. Because entry is visa-free, there is no application form, no embassy appointment and no processing wait — visa-free; etias usually approved within minutes to 72 hours.
Length of Stay & Overstaying Greece
The standard tourist stay for Korean citizens is 90 days in any 180-day period. Overstaying this limit in Greece can lead to fines, deportation and a temporary re-entry ban, so track your permitted days carefully. If you need longer, enquire about an extension or a different visa category with Greece’s immigration authority before your authorised stay expires.
