Canada eTA for Singaporean Citizens — What You Need to Know

Singaporean passport holders are visa-exempt for Canada but must obtain an Electronic Travel Authorisation (eTA) before flying to Canada. The eTA is a simple online process, costs CAD 7, and is typically approved within minutes. It is valid for 5 years or until passport expiry (whichever comes first) and allows multiple trips.

Note: An eTA is only required for air travel. Singaporean citizens arriving by land or sea do not need an eTA (a valid passport is sufficient).
