Business Visa
Business visits (meetings, trade) are permitted under the standard tourist/VoA for most nationalities. For long-term business, an investor or business visa is obtained from the Jordanian Investment Commission (JIC) or Ministry of Interior. Jordan Economic Zones offer special investment pathways.
Work & Long-Stay Visas
- Work Permit + Residence Visa: Employer must obtain work permit from Ministry of Labour; employee applies for residence permit at PSDSS (General Directorate of Residency and Borders Affairs). Annual renewal required.
- Investment/Retirement Residence: Real estate investment of JOD 35,000+ can qualify for a 1-year renewable residence permit. Retirees (50+) with monthly income of JOD 2,500+ may also qualify.
Student Visa
