Why Taipei Visa Rules Are Taiwan Visa Rules

Taipei is the capital of Taiwan, so the visa requirements for visiting Taipei are identical to those for entering Taiwan. There is no separate Taipei visa or city-specific entry permit. The only entry airport for Taipei is Taiwan Taoyuan International (TPE), about 40 km from the city, served by the Taoyuan Airport MRT.
