Pode prorrogar o seu Philippines Visa?

Most foreign nationals may extend their tourist visa (or visa-free entry) at the Bureau of Immigration. Extensions are issued in monthly increments and the process can be repeated multiple times, with a theoretical maximum cumulative stay of up to 2 years (subject to BI discretion and immigration rules). Some nationalities are restricted to shorter maximum stays. After the initial 30-day visa-free entry, the first extension covers an additional 29 days. Subsequent extensions are for 59 days each. Online extensions are also available via the BI online appointment system for certain types.

Pick up the application form at the counter, fill it in, and attach your photograph and passport copies.

  4. Pay the fee
Pay PHP 3,030 at the cashier. Keep your official receipt — you will need it to collect your passport.
  5. Collect your passport
Return on the date specified on your receipt (usually same day or next day) to collect your passport with the new extension stamp.

Overstay Penalties — Important!

Aviso: Overstaying your visa can have serious and long-lasting consequences.

Overstaying in the Philippines is subject to a fine of PHP 500 per month of overstay (plus associated administrative fees), but enforcement at departure includes a thorough review of your stamp history. Long overstays (over 6 months) can lead to being placed on an Immigration watchlist and potential deportation proceedings. Repeated offenders may face a re-entry blacklist. The Bureau of Immigration is known to impose additional penalties at the discretion of the immigration officer at the airport. Always extend before your current authorised stay expires.
