1. Determine your visa type

Overstay Penalties — Important!

Cambodia charges a flat fine of USD 10 per day of overstay, payable at the border or airport on departure. This is well-enforced at all official exit points. Longer overstays (over 30 days) may also attract additional scrutiny and potential deportation. Overstay is noted in the immigration system and may affect future visa applications to Cambodia.
