Bahrain eVisa & Travel Information (2026)

Introduction

Bahrain is the smallest country in the Middle East and a thriving financial and business hub. The main entry point is Bahrain International Airport (BAH). The Nationality, Passports & Residence Affairs (NPRA) manages immigration. Citizens of most countries can obtain a visa on arrival or apply for an eVisa online at evisa.gov.bh.

Citizens of over 100 countries receive a free visa on arrival in Bahrain (14-day tourist). This includes US, UK, EU, Canada, Australia, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, New Zealand and many others. Nationals of GCC states (Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman) enter without any visa requirements. Citizens of other nationalities can apply for a paid eVisa at evisa.gov.bh (fee: BHD 29 ~USD 77).
