Sante et Conditions d'Entree
- Travel insurance: Mandatory for Schengen visa — minimum EUR 30,000 medical coverage including repatriation. Must cover the entire Schengen area.

Refus et Recours

- Appeal (Remonstration): Applicants can file a written objection (Remonstration) to the embassy within 1 month of the refusal notification. The embassy reviews the case again with any new evidence.
- Court appeal: If remonstration fails, applicants can file a lawsuit at the Administrative Court (Verwaltungsgericht) in Berlin within 1 month. Legal representation recommended.
