Aperçu des Chine conditions d'entrée 2026

China opened its free eVisa programme in 2023, allowing nationals of many countries to apply online at evisa.mfa.gov.cn without visiting a consulate. The eVisa grants a 30-day single-entry stay and is valid for tourism, business, transit and family visits. Travellers not eligible for the eVisa must apply at a Chinese embassy or consulate and pay the standard USD 140 fee. China also maintains a Transit Without Visa (TWOV) policy: 72 hours for most eligible transit cities and 144 hours for Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and other major hubs, provided you hold an onward ticket to a third country. Confirm TWOV eligibility by nationality before travel, as not all passports qualify.
